Studio Showoff is what happens when two dangerously creative humans decide that animation should be fun, loud, and maybe a bit unhinged. Founded in Melbourne by Ivan Dixon and Sean Zwan, the studio has built a reputation for stories that look amazing, make people laugh, and occasionally melt brains.
From music videos for Childish Gambino and Elton John, to ad campaigns for HBO, Disney, and Adult Swim, to festival-favorite shorts and TV series, Showoff proves again and again that character-driven stories don’t always have to behave themselves. Basically, if you’ve ever seen something animated that made you spit your coffee out, there’s a good chance it was by Studio Showoff. They make work that is smart, sometimes weird, funny, and impossible to ignore.
