Doug got his start at Pixar animating films like Toy Story, Monsters, Inc., and Finding Nemo, before going on to direct his own Oscar-nominated short Presto and the feature film Storks.
He storyboards, writes, directs, and builds new worlds in VR and AR, even earning a Google patent for rethinking how stories can be told in virtual space.
Along the way, Doug came full circle at PSYOP, bringing the Toy Story characters to life inside Supercell’s Brawl Stars universe. He has since continued to expand his work in gaming, most recently helping launch Dream Games’ latest title, Royal Kingdom, by co-directing the game’s cinematic trailer alongside PSYOP director Marie Hyon.
The collaboration with the mobile gaming giant has evolved into an ongoing creative partnership, with the pair recently delivering a slate of in-game films that deepen the story and world of the game.
