Borja Peña Gorostegui

Borja is a director, showrunner and writer with Disney and Apple, working on several acclaimed narrative projects across film and TV. Most recently, he directed '5 More Sleeps ’til Christmas', the animated special adaptation of Jimmy Fallon’s New York Times No. 1 bestselling book.

Borja grew up in Spain dreaming of Spielberg, drawing dinosaurs, and editing fan films in his bedroom. By the time he landed in New York with a suitcase full of ideas and a SCAD diploma, he’d already collected a full spectrum of skills — animator, compositor, CG generalist, director.

Alongside his work in the longform space, Borja has directed campaigns for brands including Coca-Cola, Nintendo, Samsung, McDonald’s and Playstation.
